EVIL BLIZZARD
Formed by accident in a fog of booze and regret, Evil Blizzard have been confusing people for over a decade now. Infamous for their masked multi-bass guitar assault, their gigs have become synonymous with both chaos and celebration.
One early review described them as ‘more likely to win the Turner Prize than the Mercury’ and the late, great, Mark E Smith described them as ‘giving me hope that music is still alive’ and promptly took them out on tour with The Fall, paying for their debut album to be recorded.
Since then they have graced everywhere from the front page of national newspapers to the most underground festivals, and have managed to avoid any pigeonhole with their mixture of psych, metal, punk, and krautrock, building a ridiculously loyal following across Europe. Playing alongside bands as varied as Hawkwind, Killing Joke, and Public Image Ltd, they have alienated and enthralled audiences in equal measures.
They have recently released their 4th studio album ‘Rotting In The Belly Of The Whale’ on their own Crackedankles Records, the band are coming out of their post Lockdown semi-hibernation with their first-ever gig in Lancaster!

TV FACE
The band called TV FACE are a gang of three from Lancaster. Their debut album Tide of Men was released on Crackedankles Records (run by Evil Blizzard) in September 2023. It was named Louder Than War’s album of the week, describing the band as ‘a wonderful trident of piercing guitar, bass and drums, unified by vocals through the torrent of hot noise, thunderous rumble and acid-scuzz.’

Whinge
Whinge are from Preston and make noise with guitars, synths and drums. Plus shouting. Post-punk informed DIY garage-rock played with gay abandon, Whinge slam together influences from the Mondays to the Sabbath, ESG to LCD, Genesis to The Rapture.

PLUS Banksy spinning tunes all night!
With 20 years of experience as a selector and broadcaster, Lancaster’s very own Banksy brings audio graffiti to any dancefloor. Expect bangers, surprises, bass faces, riffs and more bangers from her post punk, alt rock, indie and metal collection.
